RexSeek Overview

RexSeek

RexSeek is a transportable V/UHF Direction Finding System. It comprises of a direction-finding antenna, carbon fibre tripod, rugged two-channel phase coherent receiver, and client workstation laptop.

The antenna is a two-band antenna array, with the low-band operating from 30 MHz - 1 GHz, and the high band operating from 1 GHz to 6 GHz. The antenna array incorporates controllable LNA, pre-selector, RF attenuators, GPS antenna and a calibration signal source.

The receiver is housed in a rugged housing, suitable for outdoor use and installation in a vehicle, the receiver operates from a DC power supply as with other Spectra system configurations, the wideband data paths may be optioned with wideband buffering.

Standard configuration is as follows:

Wideband buffering duration @ 100 MHz bandwidth (both channels) - 30 Minutes (buffered DF da)
Wideband record (non-coherent).

A high-performance laptop running SpectraView for signals search, monitoring, analysis and reporting is included. Optionally, integrated signals recognition and decoding may be included. Signals recognition enables automated collection of signals of interest according to its technical parameters. For harsh environments, a rugged version of the Dell Precision Workstation is available.

Operating as a direction-finding sensor, RexSeek is capable of geo-graphic filtering of signals which pertain to regions / areas of interest. This achieved by drawing areas of interest on the map display, and setting as area of interest. When a detected signal has a line bearing which passes the area of interest the signal will be automatically collected and made visible to the operator in the event manager. Events which do not match the criteria will be rejected.

Multi-sensor geo-location is enabled as standard, typically enabled via an IP-radio network between platforms.

Antenna, receiver and cables are provided with transit cases.

A variety of antenna designs are available enabling operation for a variety of platforms, if required, the equipment can be configured to enable dismounted use e.g. in a building of opportunity separate from the host vehicle.

A digital voice option package is included, enabling the recognition, decoding and exploitation of digital-push to talk radio system including, DMR, dPMR, NXDN, Yaesu Fusion, Tetra, Tetrapol, MPT1327, D-Star, APC0-25
